Snapchat AI is an artificial intelligence chatbot developed by Snapchat. It is powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology, which is a large language model that has been trained on a massive dataset of text and code. This allows Snapchat AI to understand and respond to a wide range of questions and requests.
Subscribers to Snapchat+ get access to Snapchat AI. Simply launch the Snapchat app to access it, then swipe right from the camera screen to access the chat screen. You will notice a chatbot named “My AI” at the top of the chat screen. Then, you may ask a question or make a request to My AI.

What is My AI on Snapchat?
My AI is still in the works, so it is not perfect. It is, however, a potent weapon that can be used for a variety of purposes. If you are a Snapchat+ subscriber, I recommend you give it a shot.
Open the Snapchat app and slide right from the camera screen to open the conversation page to access My AI. A chatbot called “My AI” can be found at the top of the conversation screen. After then, you can send your inquiry or request to My AI.
How to Get Snapchat AI
To get Snapchat AI, you need to have a Snapchat+ subscription. Snapchat+ is a premium subscription service that offers a variety of exclusive features, including My AI.
To subscribe to Snapchat+, open the Snapchat app and go to your profile. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen, then tap “Snapchat+”. Follow the instructions to subscribe.
Once you have subscribed to Snapchat+, you can access My AI by opening the Snapchat app and swiping right from the camera screen to open the chat screen. At the top of the chat screen, you will see a chatbot called “My AI”. You can then send your question or request to My AI.

- Snapchat AI may not be able to answer all of your questions or complete all of your requests.
- Snapchat AI may sometimes generate incorrect or misleading information.
- Snapchat AI may use the information you provide to it to improve its performance.
Here are the steps on how to access My AI on Snapchat:
- Open the Snapchat app.
- To access the conversation screen from the camera screen, swipe right.
- The chatbot “My AI” can be seen at the top of the chat window.
- Contact “My AI” with your inquiry or request.
If My AI does not appear in your chat list, try updating the Snapchat app. You can also attempt to clear the app’s cache and data.
What Limitations Does My AI Have?
My AI tends to end most of its responses with a “…is there anything else I can help you with?” phrase, which ends up sounding repetitive. This interferes with the nice chatbot experience that it purports to provide.
Other restrictions originate from ChatGPT’s content restrictions, which include no profanity, explicit content, or personal preferences. There’s also the risk that it will give an incorrect answer.
While the majority of these are reasonable policy constraints, My AI currently cannot grasp either stickers or Bitmojis—the latter being a fundamental element of Snapchat. My AI cannot answer to you by sending snaps, but the chatbot’s ability to make photographs using DALL-E is something we can anticipate.
Does My AI Store Sensitive Information?
Yes, My AI on Snapchat stores sensitive information. This includes:
- The content of your conversations with My AI, including your questions and its responses.
- Your location data, if you have shared that with Snapchat.
- Other information that you may provide to My AI, such as your name, age, and interests.
Snapchat says that it uses this information to improve My AI and to personalize your experience, including ads. However, it is also possible that this information could be used for other purposes, such as profiling or marketing.
If you are concerned about your privacy, you should avoid sharing sensitive information with My AI. You should also delete your conversations with My AI regularly.
But you can choose to completely clear your conversation history and start afresh:
- Tap on your Bitmoji and head to settings.
- Scroll down under the Account Actions section and tap on the Clear My AI chat queries option.
- Tap on Confirm and you should be good to go!
Here are some additional tips for utilising My AI safely:
- Do not share confidential or sensitive information, such as your financial information, medical information, or passwords.
- Be careful about what you ask My AI. Avoid asking questions that could be used to identify you or track your activities.
- Be aware of the limitations of My AI. It is not a human and it is not always able to provide accurate or helpful information.
